Owatonna has a diversified industrial / commercial base of business that has made it an economic powerhouse in Southern Minnesota for decades. The study projects general occupancy housing demand over this decade and senior housing demand through 2025. The study also provides recommendations on the amount and type of housing that could be built in Owatonna to satisfy demand from current and future residents through this decade.
