OPEN HOUSE FOR PROJECT TO ADDRESS LOW RAILROAD BRIDGES
Owatonna, Minn. – Steele County and the City of Owatonna are inviting the public to an open house meeting to review alternatives and provide feedback on a project that will address substandard and low vertical clearances under two Canadian Pacific Railroad bridges. The bridges span County Road 180 (School Street) and Mineral Springs Road.
The meeting date, time and location are: Monday, April 4th, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m
Steele County Fairgrounds Community Center
1380 South Elm Avenue
Owatonna, MN 55060
Both locations have challenging engineering situations and funding requirements. The project team has developed various alternatives, evaluated impacts, and has identified preferred alternative. A construction timeline has not been determined yet.
