Owatonna Fire Department is proud to announce that Fire Equipment Operator Robert (Bob) Hager has been appointed to Fire Commander, effective April 10, 2022.
Bob began his career with the fire department as a paid-on-call firefighter on April 10, 1995. He joined the full-time ranks on March 4, 2019, as a Fire Equipment Operator. His main responsibility during the last 3 years has been to drive and operate fire trucks at incident scenes. As Fire Commander, Bob is in charge at incidents and develops action plans for crews as they arrive on scene.
